entertainer extraordinaire!
Bio/work history
Short version: My dedication to creating fun transformed a summer camp counselor role into a full-time entertainment career, allowing me to share laughter and wonder with diverse audiences.
Long Version: My entertainment journey began in 2011 as a Summer Camp Counselor with Portland Parks and Recreation. Leading activities for large, energetic groups unleashed my natural talent for engagement. I quickly discovered the power of comedy, juggling, magic, and physical humor to captivate young audiences. Camp became my own personalized circus school, with the kids providing the toughest – and most honest – feedback imaginable.
My earlier experience in environments ranging from barns to customer service taught me invaluable lessons in hard work, adaptability, and conflict resolution. These skills translated seamlessly into my success as a camp counselor, where I excelled at creating joyful experiences for children. As my responsibilities grew – from Counselor to Assistant Director, Director, and eventually Coordinator for all camps – so did my performance expertise.
Seeking year-round work, I transitioned to hosting private parties for the community center. My camp experience made these events a breeze, and I quickly gained a reputation for professionalism and exceeding expectations. This led to a growing demand for my services at private events.
Throughout my time with Portland Parks and Recreation, I held numerous positions, from front desk and facility attendant to circus instructor and basketball coach. My dedication led to roles producing outdoor events and eventually serving as Front Desk Lead at two different community centers.
However, as I progressed, my passion for performing burned ever brighter. In 2019, I made the life-changing decision to pursue entertainment full-time.
Today, I channel my extensive experience into crafting unforgettable performances that are both professional and packed with fun. My mission is to create joyful moments that inspire audiences to embrace their passions and celebrate the journey.
